I developed my passion for health and wellbeing after studying Nutrition & Dietetics at the University of Chester before embarking on a journey into the fitness industry and becoming a personal trainer, GP referral coach and pre & post-natal coach. Nonetheless, even with all this knowledge I always felt as if my clients were missing something until I introduced yoga and meditation which had been apart of my journey for many years. So, in 2016, I trained as a yoga and meditation teacher with Himalayan Yoga Valley.
Fast forward to the current day I’m a holistic nutrition and wellness coach specialising in women’s health. As a holistic nutritionist, I help women lose weight, improve their energy levels, create healthy habits and eat healthier whilst maintaining a balanced mood with my 1:1 coaching. More recently, I have developed my nutritional knowledge and completed a PGdip Performance Nutrition qualification which has allowed me to work with athletes in various fields.
As a busy mum and business woman I know how precious time is, which is why I've designed this website to help you achieve your health and wellness goals. I've got everything covered from nutrition, fitness, yoga/meditation, and how to manage daily stresses without leaving my website. I will inspire you and challenge you to become the best version of you.
How it started
In my 20's and early 30's, my life looked nothing like it does today. I worked late nights and long hours in the hospitality sector as a general manager. I had no idea how to nourish my body. I lived off coffee, Red Bull and quick, convenient meals. I had fads on low-fat/no-fat diets, went sugar and carb-free. However, most of the foods I was eating were only feeding my body's inflammation. I was seriously stressed and overwhelmed all of the time, and this leads to pretty restless nights. I always felt low and sad the few days before my period, which really affected my eating and how I was showing up every day.
Since then, I've been on a complete journey which all started when I had my daughter 35! I became obsessed with finding my healthiest self! Which is why I studied Nutrition as I knew I wanted to help people feel better. I've also read tons of nutrition and self-care books, and I seriously feel better now than I did in my twenties & I'm 48!. (Within this time I also had my son at 39 and was diagnosed of being menopausal at 44!)
Once I started to really take care of myself, I nourished my body with healthy food, which balanced my hormones. I also added in the best movement for my body and found a new relationship to myself; everything in my life started to improve.
My holistic healing approach for nutrition and wellness is how I approached my own health and happiness. I work with women to help them discover the root reason they are not feeling healthy in their body and create a simple plan to implement into their busy lives. I believe it is the small changes we make every day that really creates a big difference.
My clients share with me that they never thought it was possible to crave greens, find calmness in their day and things they love to do. They also can't believe how easy it is to lose weight and keep it off after trying so hard for many years.
